The Australian Languages Workshop (ALW) is scheduled to take place at the Australian National University and Kioloa, 3–6 March 2016, with sponsorship from the ARC Centre of Excellence for the Dynamics of Language.

The ANU Canberra campus program on 3-4 March will include a launch of the Austkin database (Thursday) by Richard Baker, along with papers on kinship and a workshop on verbal and oral arts in Indigenous Australia (Thursday afternoon and Friday). The ANU campus program will take place in the HRC Conference Room, top floor of A D Hope Building, 14 Ellery Crescent, Acton ACT.

The ANU Canberra campus program is free, but please register for catering purposes.

The ANU Kioloa campus program will take place on 5-6 March (Saturday and Sunday) and will include a range of papers on phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, sociolinguistics, and time for discussion. The program will also include papers on different aspects of Indigenous languages, and launches of several new books. Registration for Kioloa events closes Monday 29th February.

Fees apply for the ANU Kioloa campus program and cover accommodation, morning and afternoon tea, 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches and 1 dinner. We are also arranging transport on Friday afternoon. Fees range from $180 (unwaged) to $440 (waged), depending on room type.
